SURREY HOUSE PEANUT RAISIN PIE RECIPE

• 1 cup Sugar
• 3 Eggs
• 4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
• 2 oz. Soft Butter (or Margarine)
• 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
• 1 Tablespoon Cider Vinegar
• 1/2 cup Dark Karo Syrup
• 1 1/4 cup ground, Cooked Peanuts
• 3/4 cup Raisins
Mix eggs, sugar, brown sugar and add margarine. Add vanilla, vinegar and corn syrup. Mix well. Fold in ground peanuts and raisins. Pour into crust. Bake at 325° for approx. 45 minutes. Remove from oven when it wiggles but doesn't slosh. Let stand 1 hour. Makes one pie.
